Course Support
Why are there timers on the online course?
Lifesaver 101 is required, by law, to meet certain requirements for First Aid and CPR courses. One of these is the length of each course.
I was given a coupon code, but it is not working.
You may not have typed the Code correctly. Please verify the code and retry.
You may not be applying the Code to the correct course. Each code is applicable to a specific course. Please verify the course and code and retry.
Did you attempt to register more than one student?
Have they logged out before retrying?
Is each registration using a unique username?
Is each registration using a unique e-mail?
There may be a problem with the code itself

I cannot find my course/I don't know how to log in.
Go to www.lifesaver101.com
Click on Returning customer
Use that username and password to log on
Once you get to your dashboard
click on “ORDERS”
Then click on the ORDER#
This will bring you to the page that says “START THIS COURSE”
I no longer have access to my course.
The course says "Closed" or "Not Enrolled"
Once you purchase the course, you have 30 days to complete the online coursework.
If you have not completed the coursework within 30 days, contact support@lifesaver101.com and we may be able to reset your course access.
I don’t want to pay with PayPal, but the system keeps showing the PayPal option. What should I do?
PayPal is the payment processor, but you can still pay with a credit or debit card. When you click ‘Pay with Credit or Debit Card,‘ you might see the PayPal symbol asking for your email—this is just to send you the receipt of your purchase. Don’t worry, enter your email, and you’ll be directed to the section where you can input your card information. Scroll down and uncheck the box that says ‘Create a PayPal account.’ This will allow you to proceed as a guest and pay with your preferred card.

Is Lifesaver 101 WSIB approved?
Yes! Lifesaver 101 is WSIB approved. Here is a link to the WSIB website where you can find all the current WSIB approved providers.
What is Blended Learning?
Blended learning requires you to complete half of your coursework online and then attend half of your coursework in person. During the in-person class, you will be required to demonstrate First Aid and CPR skills while being assessed by a qualified Lifesaver 101 instructor. Both online and in-person coursework must be completed to receive a final First Aid Certificate.
How Long will the course take?
Lifesaver 101 is required, by law, to meet certain requirements for First Aid and CPR courses. One of these is the length of each course.
Each course has a different length for both the online and the in-person coursework.
- Standard First Aid & CPR total teaching time 13 hours (6 online and 7 in class)
- Emergency First Aid & CPR total teaching time 6.5 hours (3 online and 3.5 in class)
How do I book my in person training?
Contact your local training centre by e-mail to book your in-person training.

You must attend your in-person course within 60 days of completion of the online coursework.
I am outside the training centre and the door is locked.
Our Training Centres open 10-15 minutes before the course starts.
Are there breaks during the in person training?
Yes, all of our classes have scheduled breaks. If you are in a full day class there is also a lunch break.
You are welcome to bring food and drinks with you.
